INTERAXON was seeking to understand the power of their  MUSE EEG headset to reliably detect relaxation and focused concentration. Dr. Dave Vago led a study with Tibetan monks wearing the Muse during deep meditative states. The results helped enhance the effectiveness of the Muse and create a framework to guide developers to create better meditation applications with the headset.
